This was match day eleven of the 2010-11 SPL season and of the two managers Mark McGhee was seen to be under more pressure than Neil Lennon with Aberdeen slipping down the SPL table after a decent start to the season. This was Celtic’s first return to Celtic Park after a controversial 3-1 defeat to Rangers two weeks previously.[4] However two back to back wins against St Johnstone in Perth in the League Cup and League returned confidence to Celtic.
